New Variety of Contact Lenses for Best Treatment of Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a refractive error where a person’s vision becomes blurry. Normal vision occurs when the incoming light enters through cornea, bends through lens and falls directly on the back of the eye i.e. retina.
The normal shape of the cornea is a round like a basketball, however, in case of astigmatism;the cornea is more curved in one axis causing it to become more conical. Hence, the focal point does not touch the retina to give normal and clear vision.
