Eye Cancer

Oncology refers to the branch dealing with eye cancers. Ocular oncology is the branch that deals with cancers of the eye. These cancers of the eye can be tumours of the eyelid such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma and other such tumours. The treatment of these tumours is highly specialized especially when they are found in the vicinity of the eye.

Paediatric patients are also treated for different intraocular malignancies.
